Murdock Canyon lives up the North Fork of the Wood River Canyon. The lower trail is accessible to Wheelchairs, Horses, and Hikers while the upper section trail becomes primitive and non-maintained. The Trail sites within the Boulder-White Clouds Wilderness and Mountain Bikes are not allowed. Scramble to the upper sections of the canyon moves to a treeless alpine environment. For those who want to fish, a few brook trout live in the lower sections of the Stream and Beaver Ponds.
