Fox Creek, Chocolate Gulch, and Oregon Gulch Trails offer some of the best hiking and mountain biking in the Sun Valley Region. Trails tailored to all abilities exist with unprecedented access to the more obscure regions of the Wood River. Fishing opportunities exist up both Fox Creek and Oregon Gulch Canyons. Chocolate Gulch Trailhead has very limited parking and it is recommended to use either the Fox Creek or Oregon Gulch Trailheads if you are parking later in the day or during high season (July and August) periods. Highway signage for the Oregon Gulch Trailhead is non-existent so pay close attention to the trailhead directions for the turn. A sign at the turnoff from the Highway states you are crossing private property to access the Oregon Gulch facilities however that is not true. Access from the highway is solely through federal lands per the Blaine County, Idaho GIS website.
