He was also the coach of the Dartmouth Ski Team and a member of America\u2019s 1928 Ski Team. Proctor Mountain has a maze of trails with two trailheads. One is Mountain Bike accessible and the other is hiking only. Mountain Bike accessible trailhead has very limited parking. Having a good map of the trials will be a good idea. A 4-mile loop trail with a 1,100-foot elevation gain is the star attraction. The trails can get crowded and are well maintained. A lot of the trails are closed to mountain bikes and all trails are closed to electric bikes and motorized vehicles. Fishing opportunities exist on Trail Creek for Rainbow, Cutthroat, and Brook Trout.
