Over 2,000 feet of elevation gain to a 7,700-foot summit. Spectacular views of the Smoky, Pioneer, and Boulder Mountains are the reward. Steep dangerous skiing descends are also popular here. Avalanches are numerous and can be very large and extreme on occasion.
